The Boost Controller, together with the Chip It Performance Module, which integrates Boost re-mapping as a standard feature and defeats the factory Boost Cut is needed for all Common Rail Diesels which have mechanically operated waste-gates as the factory ECU will still go into Turbo Over-boost error/limp mode if you do not have our Performance Chip installed.
